a. When you visit our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to our website's server. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected automatically and stored until its automated deletion:

  • The date and time of access,
  • The name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • The website from which access is initiated (referrer URL),
  • The browser used and, where applicable, the operating system of your computer, as well as the name of your access provider.

a) Tracking Tools

The tracking measures listed below and employed by us are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR. Through the tracking measures we utilize, we aim to ensure the needs-based design and continuous optimization of our website. Furthermore, we use these tracking measures to statistically record the usage of our website and to evaluate this data for the purpose of optimizing our services for you. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.

b) Google Maps Plugin

We use a plugin from the internet service Google Maps on our website. The operator of Google Maps is Google Inc., located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. By using Google Maps on our website, information regarding the use of this website and your IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored on that server. We have no knowledge regarding the exact content of the transmitted data, nor regarding its use by Google. In this context, the company denies linking the data with information from other Google services or collecting personal data. However, Google may transmit the information to third parties.

If you disable JavaScript in your browser, you will prevent Google Maps from running. In that case, however, you will also be unable to use the map display feature on our website.

c) Google+ Plugin

We utilize Google+ features on our website. This social network is provided by Google Inc., which is headquartered in the USA at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043. Google+ enables you to publish content globally via its button. You are also offered personalized content from Google and its partner providers. Google stores your rating (+1) regarding content and information from websites that you have clicked while assigning a +1. Your +1 rating may be displayed alongside your profile name and photo in other Google services. Google records your overall +1 activities. This data collection serves to optimize and personalize Google's services for you. To use the Google+ platform, you must create a globally visible profile under a name of your choice. The name you choose will also be used across other Google services.

Consequently, anyone who knows your email address may be able to access your Google+ profile. Google uses the collected data—in accordance with its privacy policies—to generate statistics, among other purposes; these statistics may be shared with partner companies in aggregated form or utilized in other ways. No social media plug-ins are used on our website.

  • pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR, to request information regarding your personal data processed by us. In particular, you may request information concerning the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the envisaged storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the source of your data if it was not collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and—where applicable—meaningful information regarding the details thereof;
  • pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR, to request without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data stored by us, or the completion thereof;
  • pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
  • pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, insofar as the accuracy of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful but you oppose its erasure and we no longer require the data, yet you require it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or you have objected to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR;
  • pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, or to request its transmission to another controller;
  • pursuant to Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR, to withdraw your consent, once granted, at any time with effect for the future. The consequence of this is that we may no longer continue the data processing that was based on this consent; and
  • pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a rule, you may contact the supervisory authority of your habitual place of residence, your place of work, or our company's registered office for this purpose.

8. Right to Object

Insofar as your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f of the GDPR, you have the right pursuant to Art. 21 of the GDPR to object to the processing of your personal data, provided that there are grounds for doing so arising from your particular situation, or if the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will implement without requiring you to specify a particular situation.

9. SSL Encryption

Our website utilizes SSL encryption for the transmission of confidential or personal content belonging to our users.
